TV PG LV entertainment open fireworks

Rosey (350 pounds) vs Heat GM Steven Richards (Philadelphia, PA, 230 pounds) - Coach is not in a good mood. I wonder why. Coach hopes there's never ever Taboo Tuesday again. We take a look at Rosey right before Steven can point at the announce booth and Coach can complain about being pointed at. Your ref is Chris Kay. Todd wastes no time

bringing up the dress. Coach, ending his rant on the subject: "I like my legs! Do you like yours?" The upside: Coach had just recently switched from briefs to boxers, a fortunate move for us all. "ROSEY" chant, which means people in Chicago are bored. Lockup, Steven with a headlock, shot of, Rosey wins the shoulderblock. Steven's shoulder hurts so bad, he needs a break to think this over. Lockup, Steven reaches for a headlock and ends up with an armbar. Twisting that wrist, armbar. Every midcarder not named Batista or Shelton are ticked because Coach beat them in the voting. Rosey reverses the armbar, crank. Steven with a forward roll reversal, Rosey with a forward roll reversal and a leg trip. Rosey poses, Steven recovers. Steven kicks Rosey's ample gut. Kick to the shin. Double chop. Off the ropes, corner splash by Steven! Pose. Rosey's not that affected - out of the corner shoulderblock. Big sit! Steven somehow gets free. Steven shoves Rosey and gets shoved down. Right. Right. Whip, scoop and slam. Off the ropes, spinning legdrop and no one's home. Steven grabs the leg that just missed as Coach and Todd push "a fat guy really hurts his leg when he misses a legdrop". Steven gets to kicking the hamstring, but Rosey kicks his way free. Steven off the ropes, dropkick to the hurt left leg. Steven with quick elbows to the leg. Pulling down the kneepad, and dropping knees to the knee. KNEEBAR! Coach claims Rosey and Hurricane are NOT real superheroes! Neither Todd or Coach can name the move being applied but Todd at least seems to feel bad about it - he settles on "legbar" which is good enough. Coach: "I'd like to call it a figure two and a half. Because his legs are so big, you can't call it a figure two." Rosey trying to attack Steven's left knee to break the head, but Steven kicks him in the face. Steven sits up to taunt, and it puts him into punching range. Rosey fights his way free, but he's very slow up - not up, even as Steven kicks the leg before he can get up. Spinning toe hold? Kicked off, hard into the crooner. Rosey manages to get to his feet, and Steven runs into a back elbow, back elbow, and a clothesline. Rosey not moving much, but Steven rushing into him. Whip, backdrop. Rosey calls for something. Steven to the corner, Rosey slowly charges into a boot. Steven to the middle rope, cross body is caught and dropped into a front slam. Rosey going up (and feeling better). Samoa Jam! One two three. (5:14) Todd is in shock Rosey actually picked up a singles win. Coach: "Possibly the biggest legdrop of all time!!!!!" Yes, five exclamation marks.

Tonight: Rowbear Conway vs Maven

Day of Reckoning presents Batista attacking Jericho for reasons that don't really matter anymore of Two Weeks Ago

And then they had a tag match, which doesn't really matter now - unless they're doing a feud now, and let's not. (2:55) Actually, it turns out to be about Orton and Flair, leading into stills of their post cage match (black and white for blood) handshake. (:15)

Who Will Face Chris Jericho for the Intercontinental Title
Batista 20%
Shelton Benjamin 37%
Coach 7%
Others 36%

And, as these stills show, Shelton won the IC Title (:10) Thanks for watching Taboo Tuesday

After a break, more Taboo Tuesday stills, this time the Snitsky/Kane match, where it happened also to be a No DQ match as to get around the choice actually mattering. Kane/HBK comparison made. We don't know when we'll see Kane again (1:39)

Rodney Mack (Lafayette, LO, 278 pounds, w/Jazz) vs Mike Mondo (221 pounds, already in the ring) - Announcers, segueing from Jazz to the Women's School Girl Battle Royale, say again Trish is the only 5 Time Women's Champion, which means Moolah doesn't exist. Let's all go along with that. Mack talking trash to Mondo - "you don't belong in my hood! who's the man!" Lockup, Mondo backed up into the corner, break. Circle. Lockup, Mack with a headlock, Mondo shoots him off, and Mack back with a shoulderblock. Coach: "Mondo doesn't know what it's like to be from the hood, like Rodney Mack, Jazz, and myself do." Mack strut. Jazz: "Ghetto fabulous!" Lockup, Mack headlock, shot off, hiptoss blocked, reversed into a Mack hiptoss, Mondo (almost) lands on his feet, armdrag for Mack. Mack charges into an armdrag, armdrag, armbar. Mack forearms his way out, but Mondo fights back with punches and kicks. Whip, quick reverse into a kneelift. Mondo thrown out, and Jazz gets in a punch. Coach to Todd: "Now that you're full time on Heat, don't include me in your life. This is as close as you'll ever go to hanging out with the Coach." Jazz with a big kick to the ribs. Mack brings Mondo back in, one two no. Mack on top with some mounted punches. Mondo shoved into the corner, and Mack practices his punching combination. Stomp. Mondo thrown shoulder first into the corner. Arm smash into the apron. Mack covers one two no. Slam. One two no. Armbar, sitting on Mondo's back. Mondo slowly rallying Todd: "I consider it an honor that Shawn Michaels kicked me in the face or chest or wherever." Shawn did apologize. Mack forearms Mondo back down. Mondo gets back to his feet and takes a forearm to the back. Whip, clothesline misses, Mondo with a jumping shoulderblock. Dropkick. Kick to Mack's left legs, off the ropes, bulldog, one two no. Mondo yelling, off the ropes, Mack powerslam, and now Mack is yelling. Kneeling DDT one two three. (5:18) Everyone dance.

Tonight: Robert Conway vs Maven

Survivor Series press conference (:57)
Live and Loaded Tour Highlights. Someone let Shelton Benjamin in the building. I can believe Randy Orton just randomly poses in the middle of parks. (2:30)

Saw presents Edge winning the main event two weeks ago
And he won again this week. They show us clips of HBK holding his knee on the outside, during the break. (7:00)
Taboo Tuesday stills: Edge interferes and costs HBK the match. HBK is injured. He is cut. He's headed to OVW. (:31)

Sunday - Champaign, IL
Next Monday - Peoria, IL
Next Friday - Laredo, TX

Robert Conway (Providence of Quebec, 236 pounds, w/Sylvan Grenier) vs Maven (Charlottesville, VA, 230 pounds) - Todd notes these two don't have the World Tag Team Titles, and announcers discuss if Edge should be tag team champion, and if he even knows he is. I think Sylvan has something to say. "OOOOOH CANADA [obvious singing whatever words he'd like]". Coach on Maven's new tights: "If he moves the wrong way, something may slip out." Todd: "Those tights are so tight, you can see his religion." Circle. Lockup, Maven with an armbar, reversed, reversed, Conway ends that with a knee. Scoop, and slam. Conway points to Grenier and celebrates, and turns around to get slapped by Maven. Conway backs up, and tells some fans to shut up. Circle. Lockup, Conway with a hammerlock, many forearms to the back, Maven shoved into the ropes, but back with a forearm to the chin. Maven goes after Conway in the corner, but Chad Patten gets in the way and Conway gets in another forearm.  Kick. Forearm. Armbar, Maven forearms out, kick, forearm, headlock. Shot off, shoulderblock, down goes Conway, Maven covers one two no. Headlock takedown, one two no. Holding in the headlock, pushing his shoulder down again, one two no. Shot off, back with a shoulderblock. Off the ropes, shoulderblock. Off the ropes, over, and thrown out, no Maven holds onto the ropes and the apron. Conway charges into a shoulder, Greiner grabs a leg but he's kicked away, but finally Conway knocks Maven off the apron and to the floor. Conway wants to get out, Patten stomps him, and Greiner stomps Maven down on the outside. Maven thrown back in, covering one two no. Conway with mounted right hands. Announcers are pushing hard La Resistance are angry and pumped up because they've lost the tag team titles. Conway with a right hand. Corner whip, charge into a boot but it's caught, but Maven forearms him anyway. Out of the corner, into a Conway clothesline one two no. Kneeling chinlock. Conway looks for a nose pull at one point. In this hold for quite a while. Camera side crowd really on Grenier for whatever reason, and it's not acknowledged.  Maven trying to rally back, crowd eventually settles on a USA chant. Back suplex to get out. Both guys down, but Patten forgets to do the count. Punch battle, long exchange with Maven winning. Whip, reversed, and Maven back with a forearm. Dropkick, dropkick, one two no. Whip, baaackdrop. Off the ropes, and a judicious camera angle lets us pretend Sylvan didn't blow the attempted trip attempt on Maven. Maven doesn't fall down, but turns around to yell at Grenier. Maven borrows the flag, sings at Grenier (miss), then turns to swing at Conway, but Conway's backing off. Conway hits the deck, and Chad grabs the flag. Chad puts the flag outside the ring, and Grenier sneaks in it. Au Revior. One two three. (6:45) Coach gives Conway credit for digging down deep and getting back on the winning track. Conway waves the flag over Maven's corpse as we end.

That's it.
