OO HEAT RECAP

NINE TIMES The Hosting Power~!
November 15, 2004

TV PG LV CC entertainment, main event video package preview - RAW's SS main event, duh (:50), open

Live, outside the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, are a bunch of very cold people. Todd wastes no time in pointing out the Browns LOST, how nice of him. Your announcers are Ivory and Todd. Ivory's cold weather outfit is one of the nicer ones she's had doing this gig. I guess I go for buttons. Ivory talks about her many conversations on the street with fans. This

is one of those pauses where I think of follow up lines and think they're too rude to see print. Perhaps you can imagine one up.

Survivor Series: Jericho/Benoit/Maven/Orton vs Edge/Snitsky/Batista/Triple H for Control of RAW
Survivor Series: Eddie Guerrero's Team vs Kurt Angle's Team.

"CENA CENA CENA CENA." Who the heck is Viper and why does Carlito fear him? Todd reluctantly transitions from his Sunday morning buddy to his Sunday night buddy, but he's stopped before he can complete the pass. (Much like Garcia! ooooooh, sorry. Pretend I said "Krenzel" there.) The Coach is angry he's stuck inside by himself. What's Al doing? I probably don't want to know the answer.

Survivor Series: Trish (c) vs Lita for the Women's Title
And video package - This Time, It's (more) Personal. Horribly, they elect to show Trish's wedding outfit in black and white. Kiss of Death has been edited down to Matt and Kane. FAT JOKE = death. (1:30) Coach wonders if Lita can overcome all the problems and "the greatest Women's Champion of All Time" which I hope means Moolah doesn't exist again.

Maria (4 - though really she should be 4 & 5) knocks on Evolution's door, and utters the most staged sounding "Oh, Mr. Flair" you will ever hear. Will Triple H talk about the main event stipulation? No, he's busy. But "call me" Ric Flair thinks it's outrage how Snitsky and Edge acted on Monday night, coveting another man's gold. (I wonder if Flair would've done the same?) Despite that, they're going to win, and tomorrow, the entire RAW locker room will "pay homage to Evolution" - so I guess Triple H (or Batista) is up first?

Tonight: La Resistance vs Rosey and the Hurricane

the Monster Ultimate Job Experience presents Carlito beating John Cena for the United States Championship one month ago by using his own chain - that's the last time we saw Cena in the ring.

At the announcer desk, Tazz (5) and Cole (6) discuss what we just saw, and the "after hours club" incident we didn't see. Why do they pick wordy phrases like brand extension and after hours club? Why couldn't they just say club? We don't know who did it. We don't know what shape Cena is in. We don't know the condition Big Show is in. We don't know an awful lot.

Survivor Series: Eddie Guerrero's Team vs Kurt Angle's Team.

Cole brutally segues into Tough Enough clips - does airing it four times make it any better? No. Well, I don't know, I just skipped thru it (2:21) Who will be eliminated on SmackDown!? Tazz knows who he's going to pick - he's just not going to tell us. Voting till tomorrow, midnight.

RAW Live
Monday - Indianapolis, IN [RAW]
Friday - Detroit, MI
Saturday - Kingston, ON
Sunday - Barrie, ON
Next Monday - Buffalo, NY [RAW]

Todd Grisham loves Yu Yu Hakusho? Only for his spirit gun.

Todd Grisham hates Heidenreich! He makes a stand on the tough issues. When Ivory thinks you're insane, hoo boy.
Survivor Series: The Undertaker vs Heidenreich (w/Paul Heyman and straight jacket)
Ivory: "it's CRAAZZZZZY!"
They were so appalled and in trouble for Heidenreich assaulting members of the crowd, here's some footage of it. And other footage. So is Undertaker still mad at Paul Heyman for the Paul Bearer thing? Guess not. Those four seconds of static are the best part. (1:37)

Josh Mathews (7!) stands with Mr. Paul Heyman. Why did he pull Heidenreich away on Thursday? Thursday's fight would've been on Undertaker's terms, but tonight's fight is on his terms.

Todd and Ivory tell us who to call, kinda, and talk over a second look at Undertaker/Heidenreich standing off. "So much talking, but it's all about action tonight." Well, one of two ain't bad. (:20)

Clearsil presents Shelton Benjamin beating Tomko last Monday

Look - a turnbuckle! Look - Coach! Okay, don't look. Coach moves from the IC match to another look at the Pistons wearing the belts, though he (also) calls them "WWE" Title belts even though they're not the ones JBL is wearing. (~:30) Rumors have it that LeBron will be there. Coach: "If he shows up - I'm definitely not in his league, uh, I mean, he's definitely not in my league - the Coach will get the 411."

Survivor Series: Jericho/Benoit/Maven/Orton vs Edge/Snitsky/Batista/Triple H for Control of RAW in a classic Survivor Series Match
Survivor Series: Shelton Benjamin (c) vs Christian for the IC Title
Survivor Series: Trish (c) vs Lita for the Women's Title

To Tazz and Cole, who are in "SD! is better than RAW" mode and "Why would someone wear sunglasses in the dark?" mode. (Tazz helpfully points to his sunglasses to illustrate.)

Survivor Series: JBL (c) vs Booker T for the WWE Title and JBL says he'll leave SmackDown forever if he losses
Survivor Series: Billy Kidman, Chavo Guerrero vs Spike Dudley (c) vs Rey Mysterio for the Cruiserweight Title
Survivor Series: the Undertaker vs Heidenreich
Survivor Series: Eddie Guerrero's Team vs Kurt Angle's Team in a classic Survivor Series Match

Highlights of SmackDown! main event, as Angle's unnamed group go all lucha rudos second fall submission/pose on Big Show. Plus WWE.com footage of Show's "swollen" ankle. Well, they say it is - with Big Show, it's gonna be big to start with, so it's tough to judge. (1:00) Show wasn't talking to anyone today.

Tonight: La Resistance vs Rosey and the Hurricane

The official theme song of Survivor Series  Series is "Ugly" by the Exies, available November 30th. "You know, we're far from sober"

Survivor Series: JBL (c) vs Booker T for the WWE Title and JBL says he'll leave SmackDown forever if he losses
Todd and Ivory discuss the retirement stipulation.
And we look how they got here. (2:10)
Moments Ago, Booker T arrived - from Command Central!
Cole and Tazz both like Booker T to win. Sigh. Early hype for SD! Armageddon, and the press conference tomorrow in Atlanta, GA. Shown as appearing are one group of JBL (if he wins), Vince and Angle, and another group of Eddie, Big Show, and Booker. Will they outdraw lucha in the Gwinnett Center?

Up next: La Resistance vs Rosey and the Hurricane

Just Like You Hassan video package. I don't think he really ate the same food - or maybe they've gotten rid of the Muslim aspects of the character? To live is to hope. Eid Mubarak to you and yours, by the way. I liked Davari's red shirt better, but the salmon's better if they wanted to go neutral. And it's the only thing that'll go with that tie. We easily and loudly hear the arena crowd booing by the time the Farsi starts. (1:26)

the Hurricane & Rosey (565 pounds) vs World Tag Team Champions La Resistance (Province of Quebec, 488 pounds) in a non-title match - your announcers - AT RINGSIDE? - are the King and JR (9 - oh so close to double digits!). I forget to note all the wackiness happening behind Cole and Tazz before, but someone gets their Ivory Coast flag (topical! or more likely, a Irish flag being held the wrong way) on TV before security yells at him. Long extended Hurricane theme so they can do the introduction and ads. Fink is back doing the introductions - JR notes he was at the first Survivor Series. Your ref is Chad Patten, I think. Plenty of time, but we don't know how long the RAW video package is yet. JR has a team he would like to win for RAW, but trumpets his objectivity and will not say. Hurricane and Greiner to start. Lockup, Grenier has the power edger, but adds a knee and a forearm anyway. Hurricane's tights look new. Whip, clothesline misses, and Hurricane comes back with a cross body. Lots of punches to the head, front facelock, pose, suplex. Tag to Rosey, Hurricane splits the legs so he can add a legdrop low while Rosey adds one high. One two NO. Right. Right. Whip, Rosey clothesline misses, Grenier right has no affect, Grenier right has no effect. Looks like someone got superpowers this week! Whip, don't think so. Rosey whips him the other way, and runs into double boots. Grenier with a second rope sunset flip, but Rosey's not going down for that. Big sit, no cover. Tag to Hurricane? No, Conway in, Rosey ducking his clothesline and Hurricane in to scare him with a pose. Rosey corner whips Conway, Rosey corner whips Grenier into him, and backdrops him on the rebound. Charge to Conway in the corner, but Conway moves out of the way and Rosey goes down. Grenier stomps, then tags Conway in. Stereo kicks. Grenier leaves while Conway punches. Tag to Grenier for more double team striking. JR: "This is like officiating in the BCS." Objective! Someone's cranky they're dropping to 3 this week. Rosey tries to fight out of the corner, but bizarre turns to hit Conway when he's already down, allowing Greiner to get in a forearm and stop him. Tag to Conway again, more kicks. Finally brining him out of the corner, but just for more kicks and elbows. Tag to Greiner again. Double corner whip, Rosey goes in chest first, and knocked down the rebound. Greiner works on the chest with kicks. standing kneeling surfboard thing that's actually not really been given a name despite it's crazy overuse in the last three years. Rosey turns it around, but into a kick. Off the ropes, into a Samoan Drop. Crawling for a tag. Tag to Conway, tag to Hurricane. Leaping lariat! Leaping lariat! Ducks a right, right for Grenier, right, right, right, pose, clothesline out. Conway with a kick for him, whip, quick reverse into a double underhook reverse neckbreaker one two NO. Hurricane heading top, Grenier grabs a leg but gets kicked to the floor, cross body connects one two NO. Really close. Eye of the Hurricane now, but Conway pushes Hurricane off into Rosey (who was over there to knock Grenier off the apron?) Conway with a kick, Grenier back in, Au Revior. One two three. (4:57)

Survivor Series: Jericho/Benoit/Maven/Orton vs Edge/Snitsky/Batista/Triple H for Control of RAW
Summary video package (3:14)
